Wasn't impressed by Origins as I would want to but Ategnatos is quite good for my tastes.

Guys is there any other album by this band that sounds anything like this? I've tried Origins and Slania but neither really grabbed my attention.

The only other album I can think of that would be of interest is Spirit, but if that doesn't do it for you then maybe try another band like Cruachan for something similar but more influenced by black metal.

Glorious. Would have made a "wow" effect on me if I wasn't half-asleep during the first listen.

Really dig Moon idk

Moon is very diggable. My favourite tracks are loaded in the first half, almost everything up to Awen.

Baffling as it may be but in my books, this is the best Eluveitie. I am aware this is by most part Amaranthe with bagpipes but I always liked Amaranthe. So basically every song is a banger, looks like they poured everything they got into songwriting on this one. Even mellow stuff like Awen works in the context, what to speak of The Prodigal Ones or Taranoías.
Fabienne is clearly star of the show, skipping all the obvious parts but that background line of hers before the final chorus in Aeon of the Crescent Moon almost brought me to tears. The whole song is unbelievable but that is something else. Prophecy is a brilliant atmospheric closer after that + we got two redone bonus tracks, Aidus and Exlie of the Gods, which are top tier stuff as well. Excellent production by Vetterli and Bogren on top of that.
Finally they dropped the obscure history reference themes and picked 'ancient apocalyptic prophecy' as the main narrative line which I also really like. And also, amazing lyrics! Not a native speaker so maybe they actually sound horrible but I've even learnt quite a few new words.
So it certainly breaks no new grounds but everything is executed in the nicest way and it's been a while I've heard so many REALLY catchy tunes.

"I am aware this is by most part Amaranthe with bagpipes..."
Jesus Christ no!!!!
But yeah this had a great impact on me and for sure it's in my top 5 of this year. The funny thing is I didn't like anything else from this band. Go figure.

Ategnatos is pretty similar to this one I guess? Just less captivating overall.
