Still very good. But just in case some of you didn't knew, new Loathe dropped and it's great

Huh. Just watched an interview with Jacob and his response to if Matt van Duppen was still their manager after he stepped away in 2022: "Fuck no." and later "Yeah, we had just recently kicked out a member of the band." I always felt something was off about that departure but damn.

This is a much better album than I gave it credit for. Spent some time going back through it and it's actually really great. Once I moved on from my criticisms that this was trying to mimic Deftones, I got a lot of enjoyment out of it.

That tour change is like the ultimate Monkey's paw for me. On one hand, holy shit that is an incredible opportunity for one of my favorite bands right now to get to open on an Arena tour. On the other, gfdi Its Sleep Tokens.

Main complaint is that this feels a bit one paced and not very dynamic. Cool sounds though

Oh I know, I'm not really a live event person anyway. Just cool to have followed this band from essentially from the start and seeing where they are now.

Album is fine but it does feel a bit too inspired by deftones. Total trend in metalcore that is getting tired.

Band was actually onto something with thier first record and should have just kept making prog metalcore

don't think they're ripping Deftones off in any way, also feel like there's Muse influences

on another note, has enough time passed that we can agree viper room was good or is it just me?
