These kinds of return to form albums just feel insincere and fake, and that's more offensive than being a metalcore band gone buttrock.
|
| |
I think the buttrock itself is more offensive lol
|
| |
yeah musically, overcome is way more offensive than this, no debate about that
|
| |
Also, side note but the album cover looks like a complete rip off of Farum Azula

this is great stuff, maybe their second best album. brings me back.

Divine is a genuinely good song. The rest of the album hasn’t hooked me as much but it seems solid for a gym workout or the like

It's really easy to dogpile on a critically unpopular band, but I can't deny that some of this slaps. T/t and Divine in particular are great. ~2.8/5

Didn't we leave the dumbfuckery of "Trve Metal" in the 90s? God damn, how miserable.

Oh nooooooo
|
| |
I genuinely am starting to like this album?!

SuperFragile MAGA metal

Lol I’m purposely steering clear of the lyrics but instrumentally there’s some good stuff here

Did anyone see the video of Phil doing the “tactical” John Wick style gun training thing? It was so cringe lmaoooooo

Funny how quickly people forgot about this album, it blows complete ass. Phil doing a gun training video doesn't surprise me one bit but I'm sure his hardcore supporters were creaming their camo panties.
|
| |
There’s a part of the video where he’s anxiously fumbling trying to do a tacticool reload and I literally burst out laughing
|
| |
Lol Jason Richardson is now vague-posting about being super disrespected or something. Phil claimed he didn't know what the post was about but I wonder if they're already parting ways
