Genuinely curious how old the fans of this band are. Their music sounds like something I’d have been rly into in my teen years. Most of the metalcore that sounds like this from around that time I just can’t get into anymore

no great loss there, and yep the songwriting rly is jank on this. some of these tracks stutter and upend themselves so much they feel twice as long as they are (closer was the only one not to grate at all in that dept) and the chug addiction does not help

Absolute ass beater, but I'm firmly in the melodic fan camp. Glad they did this as an EP and hope we can expect the usual lead work and overall strong melodic leanings on their next full length.



Love this for what it is though, I was not ready for how hard Martyr went right out of the gate.
