I hope this grows, but something about Greg just doesn't really work for me here, and this coming from someone who likes a bit of TDEP and even some of his solo stuff

I admit the music is pretty damn good though, I easily see why this is getting praise

now look, Children of the Moon is incredible and all, but like I said with the EP, putting Greg with ETID is practically BEGGING for me to adore this.

oh yeah this rips. even though i might even like the ep a touch better this sounds like a much more natural marriage between etid and dillinger. white horse is so etid and i really dig it. that riff is killer. some really meaty riffs here.

the long melodic clean songs like deliver us from life and at all times are excellent and i hope they end up going more in that direction in the future. at all times is so fucking good such sweet bass. second half this really kicks into high gear. closer is a ripper. really good stuff as expected. greg is the man.

Yeah, this lineup is INCREDIBLE. While Dissociation was DEP's "weakest" since Ire Works they never lost the the desire to be fucking great. Greg is definitely bringing that energy to a lineup that has 3 dudes from the best metalcore band ever. This album is pushing a 4.5 from me after numerous listens. It's definitely close to filling that ETID void.

Also Steve is sneaky one of the better bassists around.

This takes a while to get going and some of the choruses fall flat, but the back half is straight heat. Drowning In A Burning World is unbelievable

So I've never listen to FFAA before. What influence does Will bring on this album?

i'd argue probably half these songs would be better if the greyhaven guy sang them
