Okay, so Better Written Villain is an obvious highlight, but the rest falls very flat. Sounds like a band with potential but there are so many flaws scattered throughout, like boring melodies, annoying vocals, and sterile production. Also feel like this lacks identity. Also lol at "every-third-syllable-has-to-sound-like-he's-squeezing-out-a-shit"

nah, Target Acquired, Character Development, and Product Placement all follow the same formula as BWV, and they’re gas too

my biggest gripes are the overall songwriting and the clean vocalist. the heavy becomes repetitive, and the clean vocals they use to break things up aren’t very good. and the alb is also really front loaded, so the back half ends up feeling pretty dull

I just like the melodies they use on Better Written Villain, can't even say what happens on those other three tracks. Can agree with your gripes though.

Nothing stoodout. Silent Planet from wish.

Apart from the whiny vocals I don't really see the Silent Planet comparison. I do feel they are trying to create some sound of their own, but it is not really working. Too many ideas, too little sticking.

it's like a melting pot of every metalcore band right now with nothing unique going for it
