I already liked their previous stuff, but this is one notch better. Production and vibe wise I get artificially brainy vibes from this.
As of tags I think death metal / progressive metal tag combination seem to mean technical death metal. Death metal + grind = brutal death metal. Sputnik sadly lacks dedicated tags for death metal subgenres so what we get are those technically incorrect tags.

@Arked same. Definitely sounds like Artificial Brain, much moreso than their previous stuff. Also agree, this is a bit better but people acting like this is a huge step up are confusing. These guys have always been sick.

it's actually possible though! lyrics are on metalarchives and while i'm pretty sure he's not articulating every word, the syllables do seem to line up. and there's many passages where he's obviously saying the words (e.g. that bit where he goes "protogod of inception").
