I really tried. I keep giving her a chance but I can never submit to her vibe. She'll surprise me with a banger here and there, typically something under the radar (e.g., "Official" from CHARLI is a fantastic pop song, maybe her best) but as a whole her aesthetic just makes my skin crawl and I can never pinpoint exactly why.

nothing wrong with a bit of ye olde autotune zachary, if anything it detracts from her painfully monotone vocal
although it's pretty mildly applied here. I'd prefer it if the vocal effects were more exaggerated / warped, which I suppose shows how much I actually enjoy listening to her voice, hmm yeah not great
