I'm seeing them in 2 weeks and I am 1000% staying on the sidelines, hopefully finding a fat person to use as a human shield. I'm quite tall and seeing this band live was pure misery. You get crowdsurfers hoisting themselves up on you every 10 seconds or risk a spinal as they come over the top. Last time I saw them was without a doubt my worst concert experience ever. The crowd is full of narcissists who don't care about anyone around them. That's not at all what music should be about imo. Not my scene and will 100% never see them ever again. Not to rain on your parade tho art. Just figured I'd toss in my unnecessary two cents lol

I get the point of crowdsurfing but man, I do absolutely hate the people falling on you and expecting you to move them just cuz you're close to the stage. Unfortunately, I tend to stay back nowadays to avoid that but sadly sacrifice some vision being that I'm not tall at all

I saw The Browning recently and that set had the most wholesome crowd surfing I've ever seen. People surfed basically the entire set and there were no incidents. It was a smaller show though. I'm not getting within 6 feet of a crowd surfer at Knocked Loose lol

I know right? I thought they would have died a long time ago as well, but not only are they still going and prolific, they put on a great show. The other bands got a lukewarm reaction, but they got the crowd losing it. It was very funny and no one got hurt, it was just a blast

I saw them in SLC last Saturday and they fucking destroyed the place. Probably the most amped I've seen that venue in all the years I've gone there, even the band were surprised at how much people popped off.



That being said, this genre of music attracts literally the scum of the earth. Bunch of turbo virgins who show up trying to fight people and elbow people in the back of the head because they're pent up from repelling poon from sunrise 'til sundown in their everyday life. I was talking to Loathe's tour manager who was manning the merch booth and some chick from their team ran down and was yelling that there were at least three separate fights happening in the audience. Fucking embarrassing.
