usually don't bother correcting them these days

I've been calling it Ra-hoon like a dumbass this whole time thinking a band like that would definitely choose an ancient sounding title.

I don't remember Falls of Rauros being this good

Considering as how Falls of Rauros is referencing Lord of the Rings, Rhun more than likely references the land of Rhun in LOTR meaning it would indeed be rune. Unless it's the Welsh word for masculinity, then it is reen because Welsh has no sensible arrangements to its language.

I like that Burial Pact starts to veer into like
Straight death doom guttural dirtiness
Kinda reminds me of when Deafheaven made Black Brick in that it floored me that they were capable of making something so pleasantly hideous as a relatively peaceful post bm band

Yeah I was impressed with the same characteristics
Not sure if it’s a one off or new album or what. On Apple Music it shows like a split track almost. The artist is “Rhun & Falls of Rauros”

guy is from falls of rauros and the drummer is their drummer. think they are just being more open about the contributions
