CT is like a top 10 core album ever for me. This isn't that level but its still amazing and super fun to me.

I have played CT a stupid amount of times since its release. Easily my favourite album of the 20s so far. And definitely at least a top 5 core album for me. I kinda just dislike the change in sound here. Not a fan of the cleaner production and the bigger emphasis on hooks. Feels like it lost what made CT so unique. Still good though.

Totally get that view. I honestly think that the timing of when I get into a band makes such a difference re what I view as favourite albums. Perfect example for me is Dillinger. Miss Machine will always be my fav of theirs and that is partially due to discovering them around the time of release. Lots of newer fans seem to hate the production on that one and I get why, but ain't a problem for me.

yeah this kinda sucks but they at least did this sound a bit better on the newer stuff (thus far anyway). still far below CT tho
