Just going to say it - I respect all of you MFers because of proven credibility over the years but I gotta say, this band is complete kryptonite for me. Don’t understand your ratings…..Can’t touch it.

Oddly, I've heard this band for years and it's only JUST NOW that Dani's vocals have been clicking with me. It's always been the one aspect that's put me off this band. I liked Dusk and Cruelty DESPITE not enjoying the vocals at all.

Titan - idk generally how you feel about the more extreme end of metal generally, but once you get over the hump of Dani's vocals this band really opens up. You might dig their more recent stuff like Cryptoriana since I know you're a Maiden / Queensryche guy and the guitarwork on Crypt is like actually insane.

He is the GOAT indeed. He had a period in the mid/late 2000s where his voice sounded super strained (but still pretty good imo) but overall he's the best. He's been at it for almost 35 years too so that makes it more impressive that he can still pull off vocals like this.
