"self-important cornball music" Johnny plz, you are hating on a solo project of a random guy that has the EP paid that much so he can produce more music (I can't even imagine how long it takes to do an Adjy disc in terms of production and recording). It's probably listened by 3000 souls in the world lol

I understand both arguments tbh. Artists are free to charge what they want obviously, and there's a legitimate case to be made that the few people who will actually buy an album these days are the hardcore fans who want to support the band financially and see it succeed.
At the same time, $2.40 per song is a bit rich and I wonder if setting the floor a bit lower while leaving the option open to pay more (as many acts do on bandcamp) would have been a fairer approach.
At the end of the day though it doesn't really matter, because as some have pointed out the thing can be streamed for free, so...
This EP has settled in nicely as my go-to summer jam along with Yellowcard's Childhood Eyes. It's been great switching back and forth between the two and getting a nice blend of underground emo and more straightforward pop-punk melodies.

I thought this would lose some of its shine when the weather got colder but here I am in December and I still think this EP is excellent. The opener and closer are both top-tier Adjy
