Played this in the car for my cousin earlier and he dug it. Kid used to be scene as fuck but he's been getting into some doom, sludge and stoner stuff recently, which is kinda weird but I support it ahrd. M///

The hardest part about listening to bands like this for me is that I always end up comparing them to TON and coming away unsatisfied. Pete and his crew wrote a ton of sophisticated, distinguishable hooks and melodies - so much so that every song from Bloody Kisses, October Rust and World Coming Down is clear and distinct for me even by memory.



So when I hear a melody like the one in "Wisdom of Falling Leaves," I want it to distinguish itself more. I hoping the next four songs change it up a bit, because I am dying for a new Doom band in the TON vein. Evey other Doom band I have heard sounds nothing like them.
