This and Nymphetamine both have 3.4 averages but they need to be like 3.8 tbh.

This one I kinda get, overlong and drawn out, but I don’t understand Nymphetamine at all, except maybe as a result of reflexive negativity due to the popularity/ubiquity of the t/t and association with cringe-y goth kids.

I used to think this was drawn out until I realized how many damn bangers are here lol. Better to Reign in Hell and Mannequin still give me chills.

Definitely due to respin this one but idk, always felt like it overstayed its welcome, whereas Nymphetamine kinda keeps rolling even though it’s also long.

I thought that for years bro but it eventually fully clicked with me. Even the instrumental tracks here and a key part of the whole flow.

It's one of my faves for suuuuure! So good.
It's biblically bombastic, completely on topic.

If you really lock in to the way the album changes at Better to reign in hell this starts to get amazing. Better to reign in Hell, serpent tongue and carrion is a wildly good run.

I've been hooked on this album hard lately. I know it's blasphemy around here but I like this more than Midian. It's working on becoming a five. Such a sinister, bleak atmosphere.

it ain’t blasphemy this album rules
