I like feel good too. So far enjoying the party bops a lot more than the edgy tracks

Not rly a fan of the more ‘serious’ cuts here but there’s some good stuff here. Idk about 4.6/5 tho

Yeah he’s definitely not had anything you’d call mainstream success.
I’m English and only stumbled across him because he did tracks with James Blake and Denzel Curry.

I liked this more than I thought I would when I found out it was being called post punk, think he’s got better stuff in him tho

I only know him from features

Album Rating: 4.5
Before this album the features were definitely most of his best moments
Best track on Denzel Curry’s last album, Zatoichi featured slowthai
His best tracks features James Blake, a$ap rocky, skepta
Also there was a single with Denzel Curry called psycho which was sick

Yeah, I love how brutal Psycho is. His verse on it is fucking hectic and savage. Mazza with A$AP Rocky is also a complete jam. As far as songs with no features I loved VEX off of that same album too, he does a really American/Memphis style flow towards the middle of the song that's just perfect for me. I was always excited for him to do more punky shit though, mostly cause of the potential seen in the song Doorman. One of my very top songs by him and it wouldn't be out of place on any kind of electro tinged post punk release.

Yeah spot on MillionDead, I said similar in my review for this that I’ve been hoping he gives the more punk vibe a go!
Yeah Psycho is about as Brutal as a hip hop track can get, definitely one to check for anyone who’s only heard this album.

this guy has just never clicked for me, just find the vocal inflection/lyric combo a bit obnoxious the majority of the time, particularly the slower stuff
i appreciate what he's going for though, feel like he's on the precipice of something really good

I mean, he absolutely has a zany sort of vibe to him. I think it belies a certain level of pain and dysfunction and the desire to grow as a person though.

@pots so funny to me that episode 1 of Mando was "you need to complete all these sidequests before you go to Mandalore" and ep 2 is "nevermind all that we'll just fucking go to Mandalore"
for a show mostly written by one dude the insane lack of interrelation between episodes is so funny

Jesus Christ I haven’t even seen it yet and I’m already cringing
But anyways I’m almost done Andor and it has been extremely great the whole way through although I found the actual prison break sequence to be a bit underwhelming compared to the build up to it. Was just a bit too PG-13, but that’s not really the fault of the creative team.
