Hey a few updates - first and foremost, they're aware this album is off streaming and are trying to get it back on immediately for people.

As for Gatherers, Adam (drummer/producer) has been mentioning a new band for a bit on social media. I asked on his Instagram Q&A today and he said "some members of Gatherers making music scarier than Gatherers" with a photo showing him and Gatherers' bassist Siddhu. I remember when that video itself was posted a month or so ago and Rich (vocalist) was also in the studio with them so I'm hoping that means he's included too. They're been adding "K A C F" to posts that have to do with the band, not sure what it means of course but music is already being worked on as per the Q&A's other questions.

In hindsight, and I totally wasn't assuming this beforehand, but when this album was announced it included the text "Our last 11 transmissions can be located on all streaming-capable devices." - didn't think that "last" literally meant final, I figured it meant most recent, but yeah this does make a bit of sense now.

Damn a more screamo version of this would be tight, but tbh this album is damn close to being perfect. I think it feels a little derivative toward the end but it’s short enough to not really bother me.

If Rich is involved it surely won't be more screaming (because of his vocal injury that happened heading into the touring for this album), but we will see! Still very excited regardless, all of the members contribute so many cool ideas towards the tones and textures on this album. As for it feeling a litle derivative towards the end, I could totally see how "last days numbered..." and "tourniquet" feel less like original statements compared to the track before (ad nauseam, i drown) and the really chilling/borderline apocalyptic, closer but think the lyrical content is as poignant as ever. I think that's what really set them apart for me - their lyrics on this album especially and equally on the one prior are so specific.

Jammed "we are alive beyond repair" for the first time in a while today and it finally clicked. Always thought it was their weakest but now I think it may be their strongest. Wish we could get another album from the band in this iteration.
