"Disturbed do what they’ve always done, this time drawing from their classic era."
wait, how does this make any sense cus if they've always done it, then how are they "this time drawing from their classic era?"

Disturbed have a set sound no matter which album you're listening to. They generally make minor changes, at best, fluctuating between metal and mainstream. This one sits more on the metal side.

Album is actually really solid. I didn't even know this came out lol
And yes, David Draiman is the fucking man. Whoever said otherwise somewhere in this thread is not only incorrect, but so BLATANTLY incorrect that I actually am scramming to find my advil and icepack so I can cure this instant migraine.

David Draiman is a zionist piece of shit who literally autographs bombs (probably meant to blow up kids). Album is meh

Band's got a new song out, "I Will Not Break".
Sounds like something off Indestructible. Not bad but incredibly familiar. Draiman also sounds very raspy on it.

Bad album, also @scuro: it should honestly be common sense to be against innocent children being bombed but idk

I think it’s silly to represent support of any side in a complex conflict as direct support for the worst atrocities of that side. People do the same with pretending that supporting Palestine = support for Oct. 7th attacks. You can think whatever about Draiman being a Zionist but “omg he wants maximum dead kids!” is a pretty useless analysis.

to me the problem is that he went out of his way to sign a bomb on a visit to the IDF and it was publicized, the message is so clear to me it's kinda shocking, generally having one stance is one thing but that was a message with a deeper intent, i already haven't felt anything about any new Disturbed stuff in at least 15 years (quite honestly the only thing Draiman was involved in i've cared about in that timeframe was vengeance falls) and david deciding to make a complete ass out of himself publicly like this does not help matters

Sure I can see why you’re critical of that. I think if I had family in Israel, like he does, maybe I’d feel different about the whole thing too. I don’t love the idea of anyone signing bombs period, I’m not trying to change your mind about that, it’s just framing things in the worst way possible all the time is tiresome.
To the Americans who were supporting the US military during WWII, would you comfortably frame them as people who just want to murder civilians, because a lot of innocent children died when the allies bombed Germany? I don’t think so. I’m sure those people exist, in Israel also, but do we genuinely believe that’s this guy’s motivating force? I don’t think anyone really thinks that.

I mean whether that's the message he intended to send or not the way I see it is that that is what it came off as. But I see what you're getting at

New song was so so but not totally bad. I won't take sides on the whole Israel vs Palestine thing. Everyone has their reason for doing or going against on what they believe in.

Now I'm hearing that David wants to collab with Kendrick Lamar. Cue in the Jeff Goldblum line from Jurassic Park.
