Code, basically everybody they knew that got them into the label was fired after Warner bought them up a couple years back.

The drums on Adderall sound like they were played by a toddler you can't be serious...

Adderall is terrible. I was waiting for it to kick in, but it never did.

Have listened through this album several times today mowing the lawn. I officially like it quite a bit. It is a noticeable step up from WANYK. I like this album more so than any other Slipknot album that I can recall. Initially I thought of it as a lazy collection of b-sides like a couple of others have commented, but at this point I couldn’t feel any more differently. It feels quite fresh and invigorated for these guys. Corey’s screams are absolutely ferocious on some of these tracks. Arguably the best production/engineering on a slipknot album to date. Goes fucking hard and sounds great in a set of nice headphones. I really like the choice of quirky sounds and melodies that transition in and out of nearly every track. At times it somehow gives off a nostalgic feeling, and I don’t know why. The album has a really cool flow. I was never one to equate slipknot to maturity or having “mature albums”, but if there ever was one, this is it. God damn, why am I so hyped on a slipknot album rn. Alright, good night.

“ Adderall and Chapeltown don't transition at all. That's true, considering they're not next to each other in the track listing. That said, Adderall doesn't really flow into Dying Song either.”
Adderall doesn’t transition into any song this band has ever done before, lol. Song rocks though.

"It is a noticeable step up from WANYK"
WANYK is the best thing Slippers has done since Vol.3, while this is very close to being their worst. You can tell the songwriting is on autopilot throughout. I read they just wanted to fulfil their contractual obligations, and that made total sense when I read it. There's very little effort put into it, whereas Corey really felt like he had something to say with WANYK.
Honestly though, with the band's track record, I always felt like WANYK was an anomaly, so this being the way it is doesn't really surprise me all that much.

And yeah, if a Slipknot fan is looking for a shitty Stone Sour B-side ballad, they'll love "Adderall".

That was like a SNL skit, are you kidding me? Months to prepare. They chose that song. Don't you think for a split second the lead vocalist would somewhat know the song? This is embarassing and anyone who thinks this is above mediocre is tone deaf and has separation anxiety.

It's very relevant. They're musicians and to think that the video you just watched isn't silly in any way tells me a lot about how you perceive music theory and musicians as a whole. That would be like somone playing a flute on national television but not knowing how to play a flute yet still gets praised as a "musician". That was a terrible performance and Layne is still rolling in his grave after that one.
