This suffers the same things wrong with All Hail but the problems are more amplified than ever. Feels like a battle pass video game where you don’t ever get to unlock everything and the skeleton version is the final product. Polar Similar was so focused and fleshed out, like previous albums were.

I’m glad to see other people not fawning over this, not to start a hate train but because I felt like I was missing something at first. This feels super disjointed to me. Lots of dead space where nothing is really happening. I don’t know, I love some stuff and then other parts just completely slip by with nothing Memorable.

that disjointedness is what i found fun about this but as such i can totally see why this isnt doing it for everyone lol
also to offer a thought as to smth i myself dont care for about this: the vocal melody game is not particularly strong. lot of verses particularly relying too much on one note patterns
