Pretty sure it's been mentioned before, but this album is severely lacking some low end thunder. Yeah you can hear the bass guitar, but it's almost like the actual bass frequencies have been cut hard on the master track.

that said the actual songwriting is great, and I thoroughly enjoyed my first full listen. Apparitions in Candlelight and Vagabond's Lament are phenomenal

Fuck. This album is really great. This will rank really high on my list at the end of the year.

Honnestly don't know if I'll love or hate this. I'm yet to listen but I'm not sure if I buy all the deathgaze conversation. I'm afraid it will be ultimately generic metalcore. Can't wait to check it out tho.

I kinda felt the same way but I listened and it was pretty cool. If this was my type of thing I would be all over it but it really isn’t.

Drums do have sort of a cold, sterile feel. It's definitely different. I think it fits the rest of the spacey-sounding production well.

Yes, but do they fit with the rest of the spacey or shall we say cavernous production?

Not sure yet how I feel about the spoken word…

So happy to see this band gaining momentum here.

So sad to see their drums still sound like thin air.

Gonna jam it later today.

I think the majority (like 70-80%) of metal albums sound best with a good set of cans but this seems like one that would be best with some big ass speakers.

I take back what I said about the drums, they actually sound decent, but I am gonna bitch anyway.

Vocals are painfully low.
