i have made a top 15 grindcore video in youtube and this album landed in rank #2 ... there is a reason behind my selection, this is the first grindcore recording of all time and it is 1000 better than napalm's death scum ! (also an insane album but not as good as this)

if you think this was the first you need to hear Siege - Drop Dead

drop dead isn't grind, siege was pretty influential on the first grind artists though

For awhile I couldn't understand the different between grind and pv but now I do, I just can't explain it very well.

the difference is pretty easy to explain really, powerviolence is more rooted in hardcore and is more chord-based, grind being closer to metal and riff based
