It's porn for me. Caustic Prayer is making me climax several times every time I hear it

Yeah the drummer crushes this. I love the drums on Mutual Fear too

Yeah drums are a highlight of the past few Eidola releases.

vocals are definitely great but instrumentally does absolutely nothing for me.

when will swancore bands learn the secret that swancore + actual dynamics = classic (see: No Place)
this is genuinely pretty enjoyable but songs are never given a chance to breathe so it all runs together (except the closer which is the exception to the rule)

dammmn this bored me the most it ever has this listen might not survive the 3.5 : ( this thing kinda has no comeback quality. the first half in particular has nothin going on
i guess the trade off is the record before it has only gotten better each time ive heard it so

Satyr rules and absolutely demolishes either of these guys albums. Found them earlier this week as well
Some of the best swancore I’ve probably heard

Satyr recs failed me. They were not better than this.
This is pretty good stuff for a Christian band. Mess feature sounds great on Mutual Fear.

This is unbelievably good! Great, catchy, and addictive riffs. Caustic Prayer is one I've listened to for about 3 hours straight today.
These 3.7’s on the site are the true 4.5’s and 5’s

Degeneterra is a plodding, meandering version of this with worse vocals and production that is ever so slightly noodlier and much less catchy. The "early albums were better" crowd on Sput is wild.

degeneraterra is better agreed. to speak to listen still king tho

Yeah TSTL is their magnum opus lol

Was your favorite track on Degeneraterra 'The Purpose We Find In Our Voices' where a member of the band regurgitates armchair philosophy in the swelling, gravitas-laden nasal tone of a middle-manager at Staples trying to pitch you Dogecoin? Fucking Pass.
Listening to TSL now. This shit is actually good. Might end up eclipsing CS.
