"Releasing the closer as a single before the album drops is weak and you know it"

it's like if a director shows the final scene of a movie before the movie even starts, not a fan at all

There's some great moments in this album, but overall the amount of uninspired riffs and vocal melodies kills it for me. They're better when they sound darker (Holy Roller and some other parts), but the overproduction makes the mellow moments really cheesy sometimes. It wasn't the case with the Mara effects songs for example.

I mean, it's fine easy listening metalcore overall, nothing more. And I'm fine with it.

Album of the year for me. I think some folks here just don't have the musical vocabulary to keep up with all the sub genres melded together, and that's fine.

Not sarcasm, just my observation. Some of the comments reek of people not enjoying entire sub genres.

@tyman128 how does one teach another person how to listen to music? Please enlighten me on how that works? If someone doesn't get for instance hip hop at all, how do I just teach them?

@Dewinged alright gatekeepers, I'm wrong everyone enjoys all the sub genres here and don't think any of them are inherently bland. Does that help your butt hurt?

lmao, did anyone say they were inherently bland? Feels like you're shadowboxing tbh, and everyone else is just watching and wondering what's going on

Exit: also ... you still didn't name the sub-genres and I'm still genuinely curious. Major blue balls on my end
