damn i mostly think of them as one album but i completely prefer 1 over 2 at this point

condemned, yellow eyes, and blot all rule. those three + proverbial bellow would've made a hell of a 40min album

Blot and Millions are great. The rest are meh. Part 2 is much stronger. Glide into Voice is awesome.

I should relisten to both.
Honestly the only song I recall is Voice of Trespass

Automata is pretty underrated

Colors II seemed like a pretty definitive encapsulation of their sound, I was hoping/expecting them not to drop anything for quite a long while - so I am kinda excited for the new one, it's refreshing that this is their first "non-concept" album in a while, and likely to be their first album since Alaska to feature a non-continuous tracklist perhaps?

New single is pretty dang fun! Love the groovy section about two-thirds of the way through.

Feels like a reasonable iteration of their newer style, considering the direction they've been headed for a while now. I dig it.

in terms of big picture, automata and colors 2 felt like course correction after coma in hindsight... especially with how both those albums start really heavy and become more and more coma-esque as they go on.

also FYI if anyone hasn't heard it: the new single seems to be the album opener. actually kinda shocked as that doesn't really feel like an opener at all and especially not a btbam opener

thinking this album is gonna be very very different

"You must be a big fan of roofies/taking advantage of women."

You must be a big fan of hoaxes because that shit never happened. Big oof to the perpetrators of this hoax. You must feel really good for basically ruining a man's life.

I don't rate if I don't listen, which I did, and they both suck.
