As tired as I am of every goddamn song being mixed by Zakk Cervini, at least I'm happy that he mixed the last few Evanescence tracks and that End of You single with Poppy and Courtney LaPlante. Finally, a mix that does justice to how good Amy Lee actually is as a singer.

not sure if I agree with the review on principle

them doing the same thing over and over actually shows some kind of integrity, while most super-rich, super-successful bands (or ones aspiring to that) tend to become super trend chasey over the years, adapting to whatever's cool and sells well at the time

meanwhile seems like these guys simply like playing alt/nu metal

the music might be nothing special but the attitude is actually commendable
