I've been at this 4 years now, gotten as far as Milk Man and haven't (yet) succumbed to the yearnings for more hoof. I feel like circling back around to this era (especially here) is likely to be more rewarding
may bump this, the vibes are intense and weird and it occupies a space little else does, even if that space is chock full of spiky thorns

Only reason I know of this band is because of a person know is a friend of the dude that runs it.
Listened to this album in particular since the descriptitors interested me, but ended up despising it.
Indie art rock has always rubbed me off as extremely annoying and overhyped on top of that, and this band does nothing to change that.
I get people like it but I did not. Didn't even finish it, even though I try my best to give albums a chance. But I did find it interesting that the japanese bassist got a brief mention in Japanoise: Music At The Edge of Circulation by David Novak.
I don't care if I'm listening to it wrong, some people don't like other types of music.
