That about sums it up. On the one side is the "Green Day sucks!" crowd, on the other is the "Green Day rules!" crowd, and caught in the middle are the people who liked the album but aren't fanatical about it one way or another.

Some people liking something and others not liking it makes it controversial? Hell, nothing is UNIVERSALLY admired.

Let him rant. It amuses me.

i think you really need to work on your sentence structure and just your reviewing techniqes in general,
as for the album, aside from holiday, this is the worst stuff green day has ever put out. leave political music to megadeth and bands that can actually make good songs. they should just make another album like dookie. this review proves that this is one of the most overrated modern album to date

Some people liking something and others not liking it makes it controversial?
um yeah, that's pretty much the definition of controversial right there, which is especially true in the case of this album given the extremely strong opinions from both sides of the debate.
In a post-modern sense this very argument justifies that claim.

My old accound basically stopped working. I'm afraid I may get banned for making a second one, on a different e-mail, but I had to use it to get in the report problems thread. But then the thread closed. So I'm kind of screwed. My old account rarely even lets me post in the forums, and almost never on here...This Message Edited On 08.06.06
