Go for aenima if you're into prog baby boi, then hit lateralus. If you're more of a straight-forward rock person give undertow a shot first for greater context. I dunno, everyone will tell you something different.

Aenima is my personal favorite and the one I jived with the most on the first listen. But yeah a lot of people would probably say lateralus too. Both classics imo. Undertow is a little underrated, some of my favorite moments from Maynard and Danny on that album
