this is more metal/hardcore with some slight 80's death metal influences ("By The Grave" & "Guided By The Moon"). I honestly don't see the deathcore description holdin' up because there's no pig squeals or blast beetz but then again I don't know shit about that genre.

Yeah fuck...By The Grave goes AHrd m/

This band is a beatdown HXC band on its core...on Laugh Tracks they had a clear dirge for Thrash crossover. On this one, they keep that, but you can hear a more DM approach.

Yeah this is probably a 3.5, but i'm going to bump it to a 4 just because it's hitting the spot right now. Nothing groundbreaking, but some of those breakdowns are just fun as shit.

Next album just needs more variety if they want to keep improving imo. Too much reliance on breakdowns, not enough riffs, and they need to add some like mid vocals instead of always doing that high screechy thing. I do like that they added those low growls though, but use them a little more next time? I dunno just random thoughts as I'm listening to it now.

Ei! Those are my thoughts .!.

Low growls are fuckin awesome, they used them on Laugh Tracks as well. If its that thin kid with that Winter beanie hat and playboy shirt who makes those lows as well I may bump this shit to a 4.5 (lol or not...but its cool)

I don't think it is. I'm pretty sure it's one of the guitarists that does the lows.

It's a fun album but it definitely gets a little samey with chugs and not a bunch of vocal variety. Hell even some atmosphere or ambiance would be great, like what they tried on ...And I Still Wander South.
