NtS Session 1 is a monolith of sound. Nothing but love, one of their all time masterpieces. The last one is too but it is almost too much to bear most of the time. Powerful. Sometimes music can be too powerful.

Why do so many people pretend to like this? I mean, as an Autechre fan, it's the first time I sense their music is full of shit. I know you're pressured to think that this sounds high IQ guys, but did you even listen to it? It's absolutely trash, no offence.
You can argue you like this all you want, I don't buy it. This is neither pleasant nor impressive in any way. It also vibes like a migraine.

True IDM fans dance in their heads, not on live concerts. If you think Autechre's live audience overlaps with their fanbase for more than 5% you're delusional. Those people you're talking about at IDM concerts are actually extroverts pretending to like this music style as an excuse to socialize and get drunk/high, whether it happens at a Autechre or Justin Bieber show, it's the same for them. It's just teen culture. Real Autechre fans are shadowy and socially obscure, please stop the confusion. Thank yooou!!
