The production is so bad on this. The snare sounds so flat and dumb. The drums in general sound blocky and have no punch.

Follow is an incredible song that would sound soooo much better if the production wasn't so muddy.

I like both the first two songs a lot and would love an album of them. Not just a small little ep

If Follow had Clairvoyant production, hooo boy

I didn't like Clairvoyant so much, but if I could get an album with the tone of Follow and Early Grave I'd be stoked.

Quite the amount of mixed responses for this EP, though I can see where folks are coming from with their reasonings.

Not sure about people getting all upset about the fact that this EP is a bit of a throwaway experiment. It's pretty hard to deny how much of a banger Follow is.

Follow is easily the best track yes, Early Grave is pretty much an extension of Clairvoyant and yes the next two tracks are nothing out of this world, but overall i think this EP brought something interesting to the table. Hoping for a LP next year

And btw, compared to Gore the production on here is pristine. Yeah the drums don't sound all that great and it is a bit muffled but it's ok imo

The production on this struck me as more raw than bad, and the rawness suited it.

It's not great but it doesn't ruin the music for me. It's definitely not up to their usual standard. generally muddy. though I actually think the drums have too much punch if anything, or at least the snare, which would be painful at high volumes.

There are some decent guitar passages on Follow but the hooks are like Breaking Benjamin and the mix sounds like I'm inside a box

Also the indie pop voice on All Grey "Worst" "First" "Earth" are irritating. He's a good singer! I just wish he didn't feel the need to do that

I really liked this on first listen, great atmosphere and the cover is very nice. Also curious if the screams are still done by the lead vocalist, they sound completely different than they did on past releases

What a really strange EP. First two tracks are great experiments for a newish sound for them, but All Grey and the 1979 cover went in one ear and out the other, as nice as they sound and as nice as they were mixed. Glad I didn't pick this up on vinyl because, honestly, who's going to be physically putting this on a turntable just to get a few minutes of B-side experimentation to play?

I agree the last two tracks were kinda forgettable.
