Unpopular opinion: I don’t get this band at all. Learn a power chord, a bar chord, and buy an octaver pedal and you can literally learn any one of their songs in about 5 minutes. Their music doesn’t inspire me, it just bores me to death and makes me think I might have ADHD or something. I feel like people like bands like this because of their aesthetic and stage presence, not because of the actual quality of music or musical ability. I’m guilty of this too with a band like Portal for example. Their music is actually horrible but I dig the aesthetic, so I get why people may actually like this band. That being said, I seriously doubt anyone gets into their car and is like “oh damn lemme blast {insert Sunn track here} cuz it fuckin rips!” Anyway, just one man’s opinion on the internet so crucify away.
