I've acquired enlightened knowledge of deathcore recently, this band was always different tho. more sludgy and doomy and atmospheric, ironically enough. RYM has this album as "downtempo deathcore". anyhow, definitely much more palatable music than the melodic death metal + bree bree stuff

I struggle to call this band and Emmure deathcore honestly. They are much more in line w beatdown hardcore and metalcore but with DM leaning vocals
