idk if it's just how i've been feeling lately, but Power On is such a life-affirming song that's unfortunately gotten a bit of a reputation as one of the weaker songs on this record.
Barefoot in the Park is also one of the best duets I've heard in a while

yeah this album shouldn't get the flak that it does, has some of his best songs yet. plus it's hella consistent compared to his previous efforts. gorgeous album honestly.

I agree, this might be his most consistent album. Power On / Don't Miss It / Lullaby is such a beautiful trio. (Not a huge fan of Mulholland being thrown in there.)

There's nothing I don't like about this. I could nearly 5 it. Might do. Compact, adventurous, poppy greatness.

Love how unabashed it is. Knows it's lame and goes for it.

T/T and Can't Believe the Way We Flow are my faves
Power On is just as Blush said; awesomely and assertively corny.

I'm not sure there's a lameness to be conscious of, but I get your take.

This comes off as near genius to me. I get the comment of it "knowing it's lame," but it's more about elevating certain themes. And he does that with this.

And Power On is just fine.

It's so cheesy. Its better than We Got The Power by Gorillaz at least
