Nothing. All of those bands suck equally

Those guys weren't ripoffs. They were heavily influenced, yes, but they put in some effort to create their own identity. These guys haven't.

i tend to view these guys the same as wolfmother yeah, that being obvious odes to a certain style of music at the sake of creativity, but personally i dont see as much wrong with that as some, zeppelin themselves were notorious copycats

In what way are Zep not buttrock?

Is R. Plant posturing on stage while groaning about his sweet mama not the absolute peak of buttrock, or are we going to act like Zep outside of JPJ was sophisticated?

We now have people claiming Jet "weren't ripoffs"? What a time to be alive.

I mean, I love me some Zep and to this album's credit, it got me in the mood for the real thing. I just fail to see why people are so up in arms about a fairly harmless revival group who just happen to be the current big thing in regard to the recent p4k (non)review.

Like I seriously doubt it'd be getting this level of vitriol if it weren't for that review and/or the fact people desperately need a hot take to feel like they're in on the hottest new thing. Like why listen to something you know you're going to hate?

the bigger problem here is the dude who called Boy in da Corner a 0.5 album in the soundoffs

heard they actually based their music on Aerosmith first and foremost.
so they're not even good rip-offs, apparently
