Enjoyed the debut and promptly never listened to it again, this is excellent too.

It's a great shake-up to post-hardcore's current direction tbh
|

This was super boring to me on first listen should I give it another shot
|
| |
Maybe try the debut first.

@Freddie yes, I also found it slightly boring on first listen. It’s a grower for sure

I think I dig this more than the debut, actually.
Though nothing beats Hang Em High for me

hi all, sorry for being so silent on this, been busy and all. I've switched the score back to a 4.5 - not entirely sure how I lowered it without realising/remembering.
Also, it might just be my ears but I feels there's nothing inherently bad about the drum mixing. A little muted compared to Statues but everything still sounds good to me.

Alright cool I'll give it another shot

First test song was Across the Great Divide.
So far, so good.

Been replaying this album a lot. The only song I skip is Home, which ironically was my favorite of the three singles they released. It's not bad at all, but I think it's the weakest track.

Singer's cleans are unbearably cheesy at times but yeah overall I am enjoying my 2ND listen wayyyy more
|
| |
^Jamming this for the first time and the clean vocals are definitely cheesy and over the top
|

Y'all are crazy
|

They're slowly growing on me
|

I jammed their first album extensively so I got used to them. At times they remind me a lot of O'Brother's vocals
