right on brotha man. i myself could never figure out the ol tuba but that was in part bc i was a weak lil 13 year old when i tried and could barely hold the damn thing lol

lol, that's why I'm glad I never played it for marching band; I was a trombone player for that. And then I was a pianist for jazz band, which is how I first learned my jazz chops in general. Fun times :] The only thing that sucked about being the trombonist is that our band instructor decided to put us in the front row of the marching band... so if we fucked up, the entire rest of the band would fail. No pressure!

yea no pressure at all there! lol thats some rough placement for sure. i played trumpet before high school and then promptly went "fuck that my mouth hurts" so in marching band i switched to pit and played the ol electric bass

Yeah, tbh I don't really play wind instruments anymore. I'm perfectly fine with piano, guitar, bass, and vocals these days :]
