More polished and smoother than his first 2album, for many people "The Pedrator" was the downfall of ex-NWA. I disagree because it is my favorite album by the Ice man.

Back in 1993 a friend gave me a 90 minute cassette with this on side 1 and Blood Sugar Sex Magic on side 2. Despite the limited time and absence of some tracks, that was one of my favorite cassettes because Peppers funk rock and Ice Cube gangsta rap combined really well. Ah, good memories.

I love most of Cube's records, but this one still reigns supreme for me for the past few years. Feel like it balances all the best traits of his early albums the best from his caustic political and social commentary with the hardcore beats, to the emerging defining west coast g funk sounds in songs like It Was a Good Day and say hi to the bad guy
