Falling to Pieces rules so hard.
Patton voice irked me a little at first on here but in time you realise it's just part of the albums charm.

"this record simply withstood the test of time better than Angel Dust (as great as that record is) over the last 20+ years or so."
Uhh, sorry... what?

Why would this be 'conceptually simpler' than Angel Dust btw? Does Angel Dust even follow a concept?

I know what you mean. But now every time the vocals first come in on From Out of Nowhere I think to myself 'this is just pure badassness'.

Same with Falling to Pieces and Surprise! Your Dead! man.

Falling to Pieces too yes. Surprise! You're Dead! is 'just' usual Patton craziness the entire song.

Virtually every song here as well, except She Loves Me Not :S Kind of annoying tbh.
Haven't given Sol Invictus enough proper spins yet though.

some of you dudes really have no idea how monumental this album was for its time
i love dust too like many of you and even saw them on that tour (opened with Be Aggressive) and was one of the wildest pits i've ever been in
still, with that, this takes the prize

@ArsMorendi Nah, I love the punk rock and experimental vibe of We Care a Lot, and personally, I think Mosley's a pretty good singer. I consider the Patton and Mosley Faith No More to be 2 completely different bands, which is why I don't compare them together.

On this album, Martin's the freakin' man. His guitar tone is beautiful.

It's pretty good tone, I personally like it better on AD, specifically on songs like Kindergarten
