Tommy is really talented, definitely one of my favorite vocalists, even during Silent Circus days his vocals had a certain charm that i dig

Another entry from a band I will probably never listen to. Cool!

This should have been a double album. As it stands, Blot is where the album really picks up and then it just fucking ends. Lame.

That's not how double albums work.

I meant it should have been released together. "Here's half a book, wait a few months to read the rest." Such blue balls, it just feels incomplete how they're releasing it. It's like releasing half an episode instead of a complete first episode.

I mean there are part 2s to other prog releases but usually part 1 feels like a complete piece and this just doesn't to me.

It was a safe release from BTBAM. It's definitely good but it didn't blow my mind.

They just did because it would be fun for the fans to anticipate 2 releases from the band in the same year

Yeah that's exactly how I feel.

Ehhhh I dunno. I would have been more cool with this idea if this didn't feel so fucking incomplete without part 2 tbh. I get it, but I find it more annoying than exciting.

As of right now this is like a 3.6 but I need to give it a little more attention before I'm sure on that. Been bouncing around between 3 and 4 all weekend.

Yeah this and their last one were just "fine" to me (with Blot being fucking awesome). Hoping part 2 expands off Blot and is just all of the crazy good shit. Parallax 2 was one of my favorites by them so I am thirsty for some great BTBAM again

I get the feeling that II will have some of the more epic licks that tend to be my favorite parts of BTBAM's catalog.
