Yeah Range of Light is stunning, similar to the self-titled Bon Iver in some ways.



This is a gorgeous album, similar to some Sufjan perhaps but pretty different too, especially from Carrie & Lowell. I hear more echoes of Beck's Sea Change and A Moon Shaped Pool by Radiohead. Emery and Have You Stopped to Notice are stunning.

there are stronger words though. i wouldn't bust out "sublime" or "transcendent" for this, but "gorgeous" feels right.

Okay the music is not really my type, I'm not really a fan of this slow folk music. I mean it's nice, but I can't sit through a whole record. Might do it at some point but I'd have to be in the mood for it
