Yea I think people underrate southern hip hop because it's not as immediately "lyrical" as East or West coast hip hop but to me that's such a narrow minded way to look at the genre. Flows, song structure and content are just as good and in some cases better than stuff from those regions imo. You can't just make a good song off bars alone

Narrow minded is right. Chief Keef is my favorite rapper of all time. If I was basing all of my favs on bars alone then I'd be leaving off so many great rappers.

I really need to do a proper Keef dive. Only know a handful of tracks but that all slap
