That solo still gets me on Wester Vespertine guys, so epic and the orchestral sound behind only helps m/

The riffs on this are so damn consistent too, Richard and Marek are the best guitarists Cradle have ever had tbh.

"Totally agree. If you think about it, most people in their 20s or younger have only ever known the band as 'once good'. "

This is how I feel about the band. I fully acknowledge their early work is great but it's not exactly a hot take to consider everything post-2000 not good until the last album.

The chemistry they both have is unbelievable dude, like the trade off solos they perform are just perfect.

Tbh the solos on here are probably the best Cradle has ever recorded, Dani is on fire here too.

Album as a whole continues to grow, might just be their best record tbh.

Way too early to say that bro but I do think it's a bit better than Hammer.

This and Hammer are my faves Hawks, I just love the sound they chose to go with on both.

Both are very close to Midian. I think Midian is still better

This is right there with Hammer for me at the moment. I don't think they will reach above Dusk, though. Maybe Midian. Maybe.

Midian rules but this and Hammer are just so memorable man.

I've been non stop jamming this record tbh, not even getting slightly tired of it either.

Just finished their discography and I'm impressed, even when considering they had a few meh albums

No, not really. Definitely not like they used to.

Any other standout albums, in your opinion.

Standouts for me including this were Dusk, Cruelty, Midian and Hammer

So, even if you're new to the band, the same albums rise to the top.

Oh yeah, they definitely feel like the 'special' albums. Did you check out both versions of the Dusk album?

First 5 albums will always be on a different level for me, but this and Hammer are really, really close.

Cruelty, Dusk and Midian will always be my favorites for nostalgia but if I heard these past two albums at the same time I heard those three...who knows what my ranking would really be
