something about the violins on the beat and the mix of innocence/winking debauchery in the lyrics is really visceral. the vhs filter and the little moment of wonder when he's pointing at the birds really fucks me up man. especially since hes not nearly as tatted up and he looks a lil more youthful. he had more than a few years on me but seems like he was still just a kid.
