Am I the only one who enjoyed Cope more than Simple Math?

Great review.

Moth has blown my mind. Reminds me of my first love with Silversun Pickups.

"So is this album gonna do a Thrice and rank in the top ten staff albums this year because the staff still love their late noughts Sputcore bands a bit too much?"

I hate overselling things because it inevitably leads to disappointment, but Moth is probably only my third or fourth favorite.

Lead, SD is my #1 (admittedly for some personal reasons), then probably The Silence (7 minute closer, reminds me a bit of some old fashioned Anberlin curtain-calls), and The Wolf is about tied with Moth, just has a great chorus.

the parts was completely useless. didn't care much for the mistake either, and lead, sd seemed kind of weak to me on first listen. outside of those gripes, i think this is a pretty damn solid album. the moth, the grocery, and the silence are my faves
