Books and Cannonless are my favs so far.
Water comes at just the right time in the tracklist IMO lifts the mood a bit idk
Last 3 haven't got me yet but i'm going to be spinning this all week

Books really grew on me, I think it's top 5
Don't Show Bill is probably my least favorite on the album

album is definitely a grower. first few songs are weak. Its a solid 4 for me and may grow to be a 4.5

This is nice, it just lacks the inspiration and passion of The Future Is Cancelled imo

Second full listen, liked it a bit more. Bumping up to 3.5. Lowkey best track (right now) is The Future Is Cancelled Part II. The whole quiet snare drum pop, "The way that kids burn out" part gives me chills. Awesome stuff.

Hunting Trip is great, too, reminds me of Turnover mixed with American Football and that's not a bad thing.

Don't Tell Bill is by far the weakest, at least that's how I feel right now.

Despite all the hate, I really do love Trying Year, even though it's decidedly the most poppy song here. That's okay though. It's like King of No Man's version of "Brothers" in that way.

Yeah, it just doesn't mesh at all. Kills the pacing, screws with the flow, and just... really isn't that good of a song IMO. Not to mention it seems like the poor mixing is most evident on that song than any other.

Early impressions suggest this isn't even in the same ballpark as Future. Hope it grows on me.

this is just growing on me even more tbh
Books, Cannonless, Smash 2, TFIC 2, Hunting Trip, Dance of Joy, and the closer all absolutely superb
rest of the songs range from good to great

Like tectactoe said, Don't Show Bill kills the pacing of the album. It also just isn't that good of a song imo. After a couple listens, I'm still not sure what to rate this. It's definitely not as good as TFIC, but for the most part, it's a fantastic album in it's own right.

Edit: 4 sounds right for now. Maybe it'll grow.
