@Toad that's kind of a tricky question, but it's really mostly just about doing something for long enough that you improve at it naturally the longer you do it for, also getting better and better plugins helps lol

i dream of that day. had to learn how to use maximus today to make my mixtape sound half-decent so i get where you're coming from. didn't realize how tedious it is to take production to mixing to mastering before i started trying to make decent records. the process is killer

oh my god yeah^, the mastering process is brutal. spent a good amount of today on it and it's tedious but it's still so worth it

lumine is the first thing i put out that i feel sounds decent (although boy does it have a lot of mids) and i'd been putting out records for like five years by that point (and had been producing for like seven/eight), you just gotta keep at it!

my friend and i were just talking about this! unless you put out something that matches your perception of your potential it feels like trash. my goal is to reach the point where i release something that i feel proud of for sure.

if i can put out a really dumb song about drinking four loko and skippy with your friends and be proud of it you can do anything

haha thanks for the support. obviously trying to sustain yourself through art is not an easy path. how is it going for you now? how much are you doing in other industries to support your art?

right now i'm just trying to finish school lol, slowly figuring out how to make money

i'm still very much an indie DIY artist though
