what's ur point
i don't think it's that bad though. thematically lame but it's a nice use of colors and when you put it next to the new korn and metallica records it looks like a great piece.

2) They are still liked and revered in their home country, so...

Those are the same people that like Nickelback tho. Dunno if that group of people and their opinions is anything to care about tho.

the new metallica cover is the most offensively terrible piece of art i have seen in some time

for metallica's defense, all their covers are pretty embarrassing so you could say that's kinda their thing

I could finger-paint with my own shit and it would be hailed a masterpiece next to Metallicas new album art. What the hell were they thinking

Guys, I don't understand your tastes in album covers.
The Serenity of Suffering's cover suits the album 200%.
And last Metallica too has a cover that suits what the band has become.
These guys are toying with their audience's expectations and idea of what the band is and should be.
I mean, at this point do you think either Korn or Metallica want to please their fans and followers more than they want to mock them ? After all that these bands have been through ?

You should remove that 'However' in the first paragraph

"I suppose the cover pisses you off because of the "let's surf on suicide squad style" aspect. Death theme with disco colors."

Not even remotely, I hate the cover because everything about it just flows way too cleanly when its color palette indicates a far more rough design. Not only that, but the text is terrible and the spacing gives me a headache.
