If you liked those two then you'd definitely enjoy the rest.

thread's got me listening to this again and it still rules pretty damn hard

Watch Out was my first experience with harsh vox and I ran out and bought this one a week later.

"Also Little girls pointing and laughing is such a fucking high point of the album my god. the way it builds damn. Also some of the most poignant clean vocals on the record. Feels like a mini epic. Also that disonant riff that comes in about a minute and a half is fucking crazy nicee"

This!

And seriously, if any of you get the chance to buy this on vinyl, do it. Whole album is remastered and sounds spectacular.

I remember the first time I ever played on stage, our band started the set with the first couple of minutes 44 Caliber before going into the next song, i.e. FOB's Dance Dance lol

Listened to it

It's not bad for what it is, but it's still really not my style

Im not exactly what about this record transcends the other tons of early 2000s post hardcore bands but I think part of it is that this record feels so genuine and honest. there is no scene its trying to go with. Just honest emotions trying to conveyed with aggressive sloppy and beautiful music. I cant praise this albums aesthetic enough. From the fucking incredible album cover to the way the riffs and vocals convey this mysterious haunting atmosphere.

I feel guilty for never giving this a spin. I remember it being featured on many yahoo answers 'wut r sum emo bands???' posts. I think that plenty of people considered the record average back in the day, which made disinterested.

Gonna fix the mistake today, hope that I'll like the album. The cover is awesome.

What I would kill for them to do a 15 year ANV show, play this album front to back, and film/record it.

I really thought I'd enjoy this but none of the songs really stayed with me except for the first and last track.

This is the main album by them I really listen to anymore. I like most of Watch Out! but I overplayed that album to death and I never really liked Crisis or Old Crows.
